Room 131

• Library Theater Classroom

Seats/Style:

• 37 theater style seats

Technology:

• Extron control panel to manage rear-screen projector and sound
• Podium PC (Windows)
• Blu Ray Player
• VGA/Audio/HDMI available to connect personal devices
• Large theater screen with wall mounted speakers
• No videoconferencing capability

Things to Know:

• Located near the vending area on the 1st floor of the Library
• Shaped like a small theater with similar style seating, sound-reduction, and no windows
• Small rolling whiteboard
• UTC Registrar’s office schedules the room for classes during the day (and some evenings)
• UTC Library manages the remainder of the schedule
• Any requests from student groups must have a UTC Faculty sponsor in attendance
• Catering is not recommended due to the room’s compact size

• Computer Classroom

• 30 workstations with task chairs in five rows, each with a desktop computer

• Podium PC (Windows)
• Vaddio microphones & camera for videoconferencing and/or lecture capture
• VGA/Audio/HDMI available to connect personal devices
• Drop down screen with wall mounted speakers

Things to Know:

• Located around the corner from the elevators on the 2nd floor of the Library
• Computer lab layout with five rows of Windows All-In-One machines
• Two wall mounted whiteboards (one located behind drop-down screen)
• Catering is not recommended due to the technology and the room’s compact size

• BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) Meeting Room

Seats/Style:

• 14 task chairs with six additional stacking chairs available

Technology:

• Extron wall panel to manage projector and sound
• HDMI cable available to connect personal device
• Drop down screen with ceiling speakers
• No videoconferencing capability

Things to Know:

• Located in far corner of the open computer lab on the 2nd floor of the Library
• Multiple tables making up one large conference table
• One wall mounted whiteboard and one large rolling whiteboard
• Room is suitable for light snacks, but full catering is not advised due to the lack of appropriate furniture
• If planning to use technology, please bring your laptop or borrow one from the 1st floor desk

• Due to the room’s popularity, standing reservations for things such as weekly meetings will not be approved

• Located down the corridor to the left past Walker Center (in the back corner) of the 4th floor of the Library
• Open layout with twelve rolling tables that can be configured in rows (classroom), a hollow square (meeting), or double tables (for collaborative work-pictured above), or ad hoc as needed
• 30 task chairs with six additional small stacking chairs available in the storage closet, two wall mounted whiteboards, and one rolling flipchart holder
• Catering is allowed via two tables positioned outside the entrance, or tables inside can be repurposed for catering dependent on need
• Due to being beyond a locked corridor, evening reservations are generally not accepted/li>
• Due to the room’s popularity, standing reservations for things such as weekly meetings will not be approved

• Located to the right before passing corridor double doors on the 4th floor of the Library
• Chairs positioned around a very large rectangular inter-connected conference table
• Catering is allowed via three buffet tables positioned along the walls near the entrance
• Display monitor available for digital signage needed for events (partnering with Library IT)
• Due to the room’s popularity, standing reservations for things such as weekly meetings will not be approved
• Requesting more furniture or a different arrangement may incur an additional charge
