Biography
Rachel is your library resource for a wide variety of topics which are part of our scholarly communications program. Rachel coordinates the UTC Library Affordable Course Materials Initiative and consults on creating open and affordable courses. Contact Rachel for consultations or workshops on topics like copyright, scholarly publishing, author rights and identity management, and research impact. Rachel is your source for all things Open: Open Access, Open Educational Resources, Open Scholarship, Open Data, Open Science, Open Pedagogy. Rachel also manages campus publishing through the Library's UTC Scholar platform and data management services. Rachel Joined UTC in 2017 with over 10 years of experience in library acquisitions and collections work. Rachel received a BA in History from Grinnell College in 2003, and an MA in Library Science from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 2006.
