Service Awards

Dr. Mohammad Ahmadi was honored for 40 years of service at UTC during the Service Awards Luncheon, Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2019 in the University Center. Pictured are Executive Vice President/CEO University of Tennessee Tonja Johnson, Honoree Mohammad Ahmadi, and Chancellor Steve Angle.
Service awards are designed to recognize employees for their length of service. UTC recognizes faculty and staff for their service, dedication, and commitment to the University. Awards are provided in five-year increments beginning with the fifth year of regular service.
The annual Service Awards Recognition Luncheon recognizes UTC employees celebrating their service award milestone in five-year increments. The luncheon provides an opportunity for university administrators to express their appreciation for the employees’ service. The UT President and the recipients’ chancellors or vice-chancellors attend this luncheon to recognize the employees.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we were unable to host an in-person event in 2020. However, the Chancellor and President created a Thank You video and slide show presentation recognizing the honorees.
