The Old Testament or Hebrew Bible is mostly written in the Hebrew language, which is a language based on verbs. Ever wondered why different translations of the Bible sometimes have different meanings? Every translation, every word, is an interpretation based on literary, historical, and contextual clues. Join us as we study the contexts in which these ancient texts were written, as well as, discern how the original Hebrew language might be best interpreted in light of these discoveries as we delve into the book of Genesis. The ongoing product will be our original translations of the beautifully written ancient text. No homework or prior knowledge necessary!

The Old Testament or Hebrew Bible is mostly written in the Hebrew language, which is a language based on verbs. Ever wondered why different translations of the Bible sometimes have different meanings? Every translation, every word, is an interpretation based on literary, historical, and contextual clues. Join us as we study the contexts in which these ancient texts were written, as well as, discern how the original Hebrew language might be best interpreted in light of these discoveries as we delve into the book of Genesis. The ongoing product will be our original translations of the beautifully written ancient text. No homework or prior knowledge necessary!
