Express Enrollment Guide
Welcome, UTC is ready for you!
This Express Enrollment Guide is intended for students who are starting in the summer or students who are enrolling at UTC after the orientation sessions for your intended semester have ended. Follow the instructions to activate your UTC email account and create a password for the MyMocsNet system. All official UTC correspondence will be sent to your UTC email. Check back regularly for updates.

Steps to enrollment for the upcoming semester
- Contact your advisor.
- Complete immunizations. All students must submit the UTC immunization form in order to enroll for the upcoming term.
- Read the express enrollment instructions for freshman or transfer students.
- Register for classes.
- Pay tuition and fees.
- Purchase your parking permit.
- Get your Mocs Card student ID.
- Purchase your course materials and campus housing necessities at the UTC Bookstore.
- Need additional help? Visit the Mocs One Center in University Center Room 124 (open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.). You can also reach out via email or text.
Freshman Advising
All first-year students should contact the Center for Academic Support and Advisement to setup an advising appointment. You may reach their office at 423-425-4573 or you may send an email to [email protected]
Transfer Advising
All transfer students must meet with an advisor before being able to register for classes. Below are links to academic advising resources by:

- Majors in the College of Health, Education and Professional Studies should contact their major department to set up an advising appointment. Get started with a list of academic departments.
