High Impact Practices (HIP) Grant

The goal of our High-Impact Practices Grant (up to $2,000) is to provide faculty with funds to develop and improve high-impact practices in their courses. High-impact practices, as described by the Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U), focus on specific types of active and experiential learning practices that have been shown to have significant positive effects on student learning outcomes and engagement. This webpage offers snapshots of recently funding projects from areas as diverse as Art, Biology, Counselor Education, Engineering, English, Health and Human Performance, Interior Design, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Philosophy, Physical Therapy, Theater, and Women’s Studies.
