ThinkAchieve Graduate Requirements

ThinkAchieve Graduates earn the distinction of being recognized by the University at:
- The UTC Commencement (Graduation) Ceremony Program and with a Medal to be worn in the Cermony
- On their official UTC transcript
- The SGA Senior Leadership Awards Banquet (if graduating in the spring semester) OR a Mentorship Meal with a Professor of their choosing
How does a student earn points and recognition?
Any UTC undergraduate who earns 120 ThinkAchieve points and completes a senior synthesis of all point earning experiences can be a ThinkAchieve Graduate. Please see our Points and Awards infographic for and explanation of point earning experiences.
What is a Senior Synthesis and when is it due?
A Senior Synthesis is an integration of all the reflective materials that a student completes through the point earning experiences listed above. This Synthesis is usually presented in the form of an e-portfolio and is due by the mid-term of the semester in which the student plans to graduate. Here is a template to give an idea of what this synthesis can look like.
The rubric used the assess these Senior Syntheses should be followed by students seeking designation. More information about e-portfolios can be found here.
