Praxis ParaPro Assessment
The Praxis® ParaPro Assessment measures the skills and knowledge in reading, writing and math possessed by prospective and practicing paraprofessionals. It also measures their ability to apply those skills and knowledge when assisting in classroom instruction. It was designed to satisfy the requirements of the federally legislated No Child Left Behind Act.
Before registering for this exam, please view the State and School District Requirements for ParaPro to be sure that this exam is what you need.
ParaPro Assessment Retake Policy:
Effective September 1, 2020, the ParaPro Assessment may be taken once every 35 days, not including the initial test date.
Registration and Fee:
There is a $35 proctoring fee for the exam. This fee is on top of the actual exam fee which you will pay when you come to take the exam. Please complete the registration and fee payment here. Once we receive your registration and proctoring fee, we will contact you via email to schedule a test date.
