New Academic Program and Program Change Consultation
The Office of Planning, Evaluation, and Institutional Research is involved with the planning and approval process for all new academic programs and existing program changes at UTC. We provide support from the planning and development stage through site visits and final approvals with THEC, UT System, SACSCOC and program accrediting bodies.
To facilitate this process, it is best to be in contact with OPEIR from the earliest stages of planning. If you are considering the addition of a new academic program or a modification to an existing program, be sure you have appropriate approvals from your department head, dean and any other administrators.
Once you have approval, please email Sherry Marlow-Ormsby so that we can prepare and schedule a meeting with you to discuss the program and the process.
